About YourEMR
About YourEMR
A family-controlled emergency information organizer built to help important details stay ready when someone cannot explain everything themselves.
How it is being built
A practical emergency and caregiver-readiness tool
YourEMR is being built from a practical emergency-care and caregiver-readiness perspective.
After more than 11 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, I have seen how often important information is scattered, outdated, unavailable to the right person, or hard to explain when someone is under stress.
The problem is not that families do not care. The problem is that the details often live in too many places: phones, portals, paper folders, pharmacy records, memory, and different caregivers.
YourEMR is meant to help families prepare selected emergency information before it is needed, review it when life changes, and share it carefully when someone cannot explain everything themselves.
I am also building it as an actual user, not as a detached software project. It is not meant to replace doctors, hospitals, 911, patient portals, or official medical records. It is meant to make the most important information easier to find when it matters.

What it is
What YourEMR is — and is not
- A family-controlled place to organize selected emergency, caregiver, contact, medication, allergy, insurance, doctor, and note details.
- A way to prepare information before it is needed and share only what the user chooses.
- Not a hospital electronic medical record.
- Not a replacement for 911, doctors, pharmacies, patient portals, or professional medical judgment.
- Not a promise that responders will scan or use a QR code.
Trust principle
Emergency access is treated carefully
YourEMR is designed so basic read-only emergency QR access is treated separately from future paid features. Premium tools may change over time, but basic emergency access will not be turned off solely because a payment fails.
