Physical QR cards and items are optional carriers for an emergency QR link.
The important part is the emergency information behind the QR or link. An approved magnet or PVC card is only a physical way to carry or share that YourEMR emergency link.
You do not need a physical QR item to use YourEMR. Physical orders are separate from digital access.
The emergency profile/link matters more than the object carrying it.
Physical QR products are optional ways to carry or place an emergency QR/link. They can help connect real-world items to the emergency information you choose to make visible in YourEMR.
A physical item does not replace the online emergency profile. The magnet or PVC card is only the carrier; the emergency profile and link are what matter.
Emergency QR read-only access is separate from product ordering and does not require buying a physical QR item.

A real printed carrier should use the selected profile's active public QR link and should not print detailed medical information, private notes, contact details, documents, insurance, or other sensitive profile content.

YourEMR targets shipment within three business days after successful payment, address validation, operator authorization, complete personalization information, and any required proof approval.
Production requires a recorded manual operator authorization; printing, NFC encoding, postage, tracking, and shipment are not automatic.

Emergency access

Public emergency QR read-only access is treated separately from billing.
At paid expiration, public output is limited to the authorized name and photo with the inactive-profile notice.
Public output ends twelve calendar months after paid expiration. The separate fourteen-day grace period does not extend full paid access.

Preview and print safety
Printed carriers should keep sensitive details behind the chosen link.
Your card preview contains a QR code that links to the emergency information you choose to make visible. Do not rely on a card as a replacement for calling 911 or speaking with a medical professional.
Physical carriers should generally include YourEMR branding, a scan instruction, a unique QR code, YourEMR.net, and brief emergency disclaimer copy. They should not print medications, diagnoses, allergies, DOB, addresses, emergency contact details, insurance, or detailed medical information.
Printed QR products should use a unique QR code and, where space allows, show the plain emergency URL too. A real profile link should use the full YourEMR address pattern: https://youremr.net/e/your-unique-code.
Some QR scanner apps may display the address slightly differently, such as adding a leading slash. The correct address should begin with https://youremr.net/.
QR should remain the universal fallback on every product. On QR/NFC products, NFC tap access supplements the QR code and is not the only way to reach a public emergency page.
