1. Commitment
YourEMR LLC is committed to making its website, emergency-information tools, legal information, and customer support usable by people with disabilities. Accessibility work is ongoing and should be incorporated into design, development, testing, content, and support.
2. Current approach
YourEMR seeks to use clear structure, keyboard-accessible controls, readable text and contrast, meaningful labels, descriptive alternatives for informative images, understandable errors, and layouts that work across supported screen sizes and assistive technologies.
No statement in this document guarantees that every page, document, browser, device, assistive technology, or third-party service is free of barriers. YourEMR will not claim WCAG or other formal conformance unless a current, documented assessment supports the exact claim.
3. Requesting help or an alternative
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need information in another reasonably available format, contact accessibility@youremr.net. Include the page or feature, the problem encountered, the assistive technology or browser if relevant, and the preferred way to receive a response. Do not include health information, passwords, payment data, identity documents, or Public Links in ordinary email.
YourEMR will acknowledge accessibility requests within five business days and will use reasonable efforts to provide assistance, an alternative, or a remediation update.
4. Third-party services
Some payment, email, document, or other functions may be provided by third parties, and shipping delivery is provided by the United States Postal Service. Personalized physical-product printing and production are performed by YourEMR directly or through a production arrangement it has approved and confirmed may lawfully be used for that purpose. Report a barrier to YourEMR so it can assist, escalate the issue, and evaluate an alternative when reasonably available.
5. Testing and improvement
YourEMR's internal accessibility process should include automated checks, keyboard testing, zoom/reflow review, screen-reader review of critical flows, document review, issue prioritization, regression testing, and owner signoff. Critical flows include signup, authentication, consent, Profile management, emergency views, Public Link controls, checkout, cancellation, privacy requests, and support.
