1. What enabling a Public Link means
A Public Link makes the fields you select viewable without sign-in by anyone who has the link or scans a linked QR or taps a linked NFC Product. Public does not mean confidential, authenticated, permanent, or guaranteed.
2. Risks
A viewer may copy, screenshot, photograph, print, forward, retain, or redistribute information. A lost or stolen QR or NFC Product may expose the active Public Link. Deactivation or rotation cannot recall copies made outside YourEMR. Devices, cameras, networks, hosting, links, and QR/NFC surfaces may fail. No responder or clinician is required or guaranteed to use the information.
3. Required activation consent
I choose to make the selected Profile fields available without sign-in through this Public Link. I understand that anyone with the link may view, copy, retain, or redistribute them and that deactivation cannot recall outside copies.
4. Final-view confirmation
I reviewed the final Emergency View and each selected visible field. I choose to publish only the information shown.
5. Withdrawal
The Account holder may deactivate or rotate a Public Link at any time. Withdrawal stops future YourEMR access through the old token after systems update but does not erase lawful prior processing or outside copies.
6. Physical QR and NFC Products
Before approving a QR or NFC Product proof, the customer must confirm the intended Profile and destination type and understand that the physical item may remain in circulation after the link changes. YourEMR produces and encodes the QR code and NFC chip directly or through a production arrangement it has approved and confirmed may lawfully be used for that purpose; no outside vendor receives a live Public Link or health information outside that approved arrangement. When post-delivery activation is used, the customer must review the current Emergency View and separately activate the QR and NFC destination after receiving the product.
7. Emergency View footer
User-entered emergency information. Not medical advice or an official medical record. Verify when possible. Call 911 or local emergency services for an emergency. Access and responder use are not guaranteed.
8. Public display after expiration
When a Paid Access term expires, the Account holder's full Public Link access ends, and the link automatically begins displaying only the profile holder's name, photograph, and the inactive-profile notice described in Document 05, without any separate customer election or checkbox. This limited display continues automatically from expiration through the end of the twelve-month data-retention period described in Document 05, at which point the link stops functioning entirely. There is no separate 30-day continuity period to select and no opt-in control for this limited display; it happens automatically as a consequence of expiration. The Account holder retains limited login access during this period to manually repurchase under Document 02, deactivate the link entirely, or exercise privacy rights.
9. Authority for another person
If the Account holder is not the Profile subject, activation also requires the authority statement in Document 13. Direct approval from a competent adult Profile subject should be obtained when practicable. A disputed or expired authority claim may result in immediate protective deactivation.
